Fully sealed with an IP67-rated connection system, the new EMS can be mounted inside the car or in the engine bay. Just a few of the massive number of features include AEM data logging analysis software, airflow model based calculations, fuel control/ignition timing (back-end timing code was tested to 100,000 rpm), dual internal wideband controller, multi-fuel compatible, dual knock sensors, internal simulator, real-time diagnostics, and so much more. Oscar Jackson has once again taken the reins of Jackson Racing after a bit of a break from the well-known company. His first order of business was a tall one indeed, as he set out to produce a supercharger kit for the power-starved CR-Z. The result of his hard work is a 40 percent increase in horsepower, and 38 percent increase in torque (50hp/45 torque) at just 8 psi using the revolutionary Rotrex C30-74 supercharger. This is of course while retaining the drivability and excellent fuel economy that you’d expect from Honda’s gas sipper. Three tuning levels are available for different needs and affordability, and there’s even better news on the horizon. Through exhaustive development and testing, Jackson reports that they’ve completed and passed all emissions lab testing and are currently awaiting exemption from C.A.R.B.
