While we stress again that it's not fair to weigh the two sets of suspensions against one another, out of curiosity we have Mark DiBella at MD Automotive, the shop that installed the SS for us, to hold the two rear suspensions side by side for us to visually compare. The Teins are shorter, particularly since they employ an aftermarket shock (the difference is even more dramatic for the front struts), but the Progress springs are more progressively wound. Note the difference in spring rates; the Progress lowering springs are rated at 280 lb/in. for the fronts and 500 for the rears. The adjustable height and damping Teins boast 450 lb/in. in front and 560 lb/in. in back. View Related Article
