Honda Tuning reveals the blood, sweat and tears that go into creating a competitive all-motor drag car by building our own CRX racer. Getting so close to finishing that they can taste it, this month Thai Nguyen and his crew at Serenity Sound Performance get our drivetrain back together, square away the fuel system, finish installing the aero and incorporate some important safety features.

With the oil seals lubed with multipurpose grease, Nguyen guides the inner end of the driver side shaft into the transaxle (the other axle is connected to an intermediate shaft coming from the gearbox). |  The inner CV joints should...  The inner CV joints should be equipped with spring clips that lock the shafts to the diff (or in this case, a solid spool) or the intermediate shaft. Once the inner ends of the shafts are connected, a light coat of grease is applied to the splines of the outer joints and the axle stub is attached to the hub/knuckle assembly. |  With the drivetrain done for...
