Few changes have been made inside the cabin in order to avoid taking away from the user-friendly factory layout. Black with red stitched JDM ITR-issue Recaro buckets replace the factory seats for increased holding power, without sacrificing comfort. A Personal suede steering wheel and quick-release hub add convenience as well as a layer of security while complementing the JDM ITR shift knob and boot. All else inside remains factory issue with no changes planned.
Although many R enthusiasts prefer factory parts over aftermarket ones, most would agree that the JDM ITR front end is a tasteful upgrade. Opting to rid his ITR of the factory "bug eyes," Goran put the car under the knife for a Japanese-inspired facelift. The results speak proudly for themselves: refined, carefully chosen upgrades that enhance rather than detract from this modern-day classic.
After multiple projects, and one loss to the bad guys, Goran has reached his ultimate goal. With no plans to make any more changes to the car, his thoughts are geared solely toward obtaining ample seat time. This is one car that slipped through the cracks. It's never been to a car show, a meet, or posted online. "I love this car. I actually like driving it more now than my E46," Goran says. "It's funny how no one has ever actually seen my car except for a few very close friends. I've kept it under wraps until this photo shoot." What better way to introduce one's hard work to the world? Oh, and drive home that whole "less is more" theme at the same time.
