An ITR fuel pump delivers pump gas into an STR fuel rail and out Camp1320 310cc injectors. A Dynamic Autosports FPR regulates fuel pressure, which Sajid monitors with an Autolink fuel pressure guage. The stock Type R distributor is connected to NGK Platinum plugs with blue NGK plug wires. An Intgera Type R oil pump draws oil from the Mugen baffled pan.
A Fluidyne radiator with a Spoon Sports Type F Cap ensure that coolant temps stay where they should be, while a 161822 ground strap, Earl's dipstick, and chrome ITR valve cover with Invidia plug cover and Mugen oil cap add a little flair to the engine bay.
The EG puts power down to the pavement through an S80 transmission equipped with a Type R limited- slip differential and Gearspeed carbon synchros. The S80 tranny houses an ACT full-faced clutch with an Xtreme pressure plate mated to an AASCO 9-pound flywheel. The brain of the whole operation is the 161822-chipped P28 ECU, with a little help from an A'PEXi V-AFC and RSM duo.
Stance
A'PEXi World Sport coil-overs sit on all four corners, the front coil-overs accompanied by Suspension Techniques drop forks. The chassis is stiffened using JIC front and rear upper strut bars and rear lower tie bar. A Cusco front lower tie bar and a V-Bros carbon C-pillar bar help the JIC parts serve their purpose.
Resistance
Wes-Tech cross-drilled rotors are clamped down upon by JDM EG6 SiR calipers (cleaned, prepped and painted by Big Mike's buddy Mike Yamata) and Hawk HP pads. Super Blue Dot 4 fluid transfers through Earl's stainless hoses by the ITR master cylinder and brake booster.
Rims & Rubber
This hatch rolls on some ber-rare Super Advan Racing SA3-Rs in 15x6.5-inch trim with a positive 42 offset and a 4x100 bolt pattern. To match the wheels, Sajid sourced some 195/55R-15 Advan Neova tires from Matt at ICB Motorsports.
Fashion
Inside: Up front are Recaro SRD seats mounted to Recaro rails and matched up to Sparco non-height adjustable rails to sit about as low as physically possible. The rear seat is a combination of DC2 Integra uppers and the stock EG lower seat to prevent the gap inherent in Integra seat swaps for EG hatches. Sajid straps in using a GReddy sport harness as he grabs onto a Mugen steering wheel attached to the steering rack by a MOMO hub and NRG quick release.
The gauge cluster is from an EG6 SiR, as are the clock, climate control, fog light switch, defroster switch, and Honda optional audio console. Sparco carbon fiber race pedals along with a Mugen shift knob relay inputs from driver to car. Manny from American Auto Upholstery had his crew redid the entire carpet in plush black, the EX door panels inserts wrapped in black tweed, as well as the rear seats, cargo cover, and hatch carpeting. The armrest and steering wheel are both redone in black leather. Even the headliner, including the moonroof trim and cover, was redone in black.
Body:
The front bumper is a stock JDM EG6 piece with a J's racing carbon fiber air duct on one side, and one SiR Ion Yellow Stanley foglight on the other. The headlights, fenders, taillights and rear bumper are also from an EG6. There's also a rare set of clear Stanley Corner lights with matching clear Stanley side markers. The EG6 headlights are equipped with a 161822 5000k H.I.D. kit, which maintains use of high beams. The front lip is a readily available but not too common piece made by Invidia.
The stock side moldings were replaced by JDM EG6 thin moldings for a cleaner, OEM look. More carbon-fiber accents include a VIS grade-AA hood, Vision Type DC mirrors, and an authentic Spoon Sports Duckbill rear wing. The EG is painted Dupont Carribean blue pearl except for the roof, painted Honda factory color Nighthawk black pearl. International Autobody did all of the paint and body work, including a radiator core replacement and two '95 EX doors with power windows and locks.
I.C.E.
A stock '98 Civic radio, converted to an amber display, shifts music through Focal front speakers and stock rears. CD changes are a snap with a Honda optional in-dash six-CD changer.

"Mike Arpon, Ron "the mayor" Sino-Cruz, and all of the "supastars" for all of their help with this car over the years; much love" to all of the OUTUVITians that have supported since day one."
