The main injectors seated in the 40mm throttle bodies release a precise volume of fuel, further enriching this accelerated air/fuel mixture. The results are a colder, denser and superior atomization. Put simply, one injector set enhances rideability while the other serves top-end horsepower. After 5500 rpm, both sets activate. Finally, a 32-bit processor computer replaces the old 16-bit unit to keep up with the stratospheric rpm levels and lightning-fast fuel/spark events.

Raceline Tuning's '92 Civic CX
Propulsion
Responsible for motivating the Civic is a drag-prepped, JDM B16A engine. The stock sleeves were retained but 8.5:1 SRP pistons bounce up and down inside. Crower rods connect the slugs to the factory crankshaft. Williams installed OEM/Raceline Tuning-modified rod and crank bearings, sized accordingly. A Pro Drive oil pump gear ensures the team adequate oil pressure. ARP head studs mate the short block to the Raceline Tuning, ported and polished top end.
Williams deburred and opened the ports for increased flow and efficiency, while stiffer DPR valve springs and lighter DPR titanium retainers are orchestrated by a pair of GS-R camshafts. Skunk 2 adjustable camshaft gears dial it all in and a Mugen valve cover tops it all off. A Toda high-tension timing belt replaces the OEM issue.
A Precision PT67/69 turbocharger mated to an SFP race manifold is in charge of inhalation duties. The monster snail directs boost through a Raceline Tuning front mount intercooler and custom piping combination and into a 75mm Edelbrock throttle body. An HKS Race Type II blow off valve lets out excess pressure and a Tial 38mm wastegate regulates boost. Air and fuel enter inside a JG Edelbrock Victor X intake manifold with the aid of Precision 1000cc/min injectors mounted to an AEM fuel rail. A Walbro 255-lph fuel pump supplies C16 to the mix while an AEM fuel filter keeps it clean.
The attention to detail shows in the little stuff. Turbonetics t-bolt clamps keep the intercooler piping in place and DEI heat wrap helps keep the exhaust heat inside the manifold. Air is cooled via a NX intercooler sprayer kit and water with a C&R radiator and Spal fan combo.
An AEM EMS replaces the factory ECU and ensures driveability despite the huge injectors. Spark is increased with an MSD blaster SS coil and MSD Digital 6 ignition. An Apexi AVCR boost controller regulates pressure to predetermined levels. The GSR transmission houses an OBX limited slip differential with an ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc holding the power and preventing slippage.
Rims & Rubber:
When serving street duty, the Civic rolls on 16-inch Rays Gram Lights clad with 205/40/16 Yokohama Parada spec II rubber. At the strip the Civic changes into a set of 13-inch Bogart drag wheels wrapped in 24.5x8 M&H slicks up front and matching skinnies in the rear.
Stance
Primarily a straight-line warrior, suspension mods remain minimal. Tein coilovers are fitted at all four corners and a JIC front strut tower brace and a set of Kordenbrock Motorsports front traction bars stiffen up the chassis. For additional support, a sway bar from an EG was added up front.
Resistance
The guys retrofitted the '94-'01 Integra rear disc brakes to the Civic but didn't stop there. Power Slot rotors were added all the way around followed by Axxis pads and Goodridge lines.
Stance
House of Kolor, Galaxy Grey paint covers the body but it's the VIS carbon fiber components that make the EG stand out. Included are the company's hood, front lip, canards and rear wing. JDM city lights, corner lights, side markers and taillights complete the package.
Body
Inside: Raceline Tuning's own Ryan Digman performed the fabrication duties to convert the hatchback to right-hand drive status. The firewall and dash were swapped, the dash receiving the full complement of JDM EG parts including climate controls, amber clock, JDM gauge cluster, center console and steering wheel. A Buddy Club racing seat and RCI harness are all that lies inside besides the aforementioned and an AME roll cage.
I.C.E,:
In keeping with the JDM theme, a Gathers tape deck accompanies an Alpine 6-disc changer as the Civic's minimal ICE setup.
