July 18th, Long Beach, CA
Once again, Spocom made its way to the Long Beach Convention Center and threw a massive event that seemed to out-size last year's shindig. With various industry leading vendors on hand to display their handy-work, show-goers had to divide their time between the new and upcoming product displays, and the insanely built show cars that seemed to sit elbow-to-elbow with each other throughout the hall. Hondas dominated the show grounds with engine bays clean enough to eat off, custom built and heavily modified rollers, and an imposing presence that the Honda-haters can pretend to ignore, but let's be honest, no one in the Japanese import community is doing what we are. Typical EH and DC builds littered the grounds, while RSX and S2000s continue to increase their numbers at block buster events like this one. In case you missed it, Spocom will be back-check out their website for more information: www.spocomusa.com
