N1 Concepts Grand Re-Opening
Hayward, CA
The scorching summer heat in Hayward, Calif., couldn't stop enthusiasts from coming out to celebrate the re-opening of N1 Concepts at their new facility. Normal shop openings don't see this type of a reception, but N1 carries an outstanding reputation throughout the country. Regarded as one of the top importers of Japanese domestic market parts within the Honda community, they have the resources to get you pretty much anything you can imagine from the land of the rising sun.Approaching the entrance of the shop, attendees were greeted by N1's very-own track-built Honda Fit. The recognizable graphics along the side of the Fit makes it unmistakable. Among the vendors in the parking-lot were Blox, 5Zigen, and J's Racing. These vendors also donated parts for the raffle and giveaway that would occur later in the day. Scattered between the vendors were booths hosted by aspiring import models who were more than happy to pose for eager cameramen.
N1 Concepts also fed the large crowd with free food. Hot dogs were available and handed out generously throughout the day. Helpers were also on hand to make sure that everyone stayed hydrated.
Near the front entrance, a twin turbo K-powered Civic hatchback with a JDM Integra front end had attendees pointing and commenting. Right next to that, an aggressive looking J's Racing-inspired DC2. N1 Concepts has a great relationship with J's Racing and it's evident when you step inside the showroom. Sitting atop the hardwood floors is N1 Concept's very own S2000 track car, built inside and out by J's.
The new Hayward location proved to be much larger than the old spot. Past the doors of the showroom is a dock where N1 employees do all their dirty work. Multiple lifts fill the space with used JDM parts, and engines flank the surrounding walls.
The event drew many nice Hondas as well as many notable builds, some of which were previous Honda Tuning feature cars. Free food, women in minimal clothing, and built Hondas; the perfect formula for any great event, and the N1 Concepts grand re-opening definitely did not disappoint!
